Candice Search's for Her Son

Candice was relaxing on the futon at home, enjoying a rare moment of quiet when she realized something was off. Her son, usually in and out of the house, was nowhere to be found. A bit concerned, she got up, looking out her living room window to see if his car there. Which it is, so she looks for him but no sign of him or maybe he is simply in another room. She called his name a few times, but there was no answer. Her curiosity grew as she began searching every corner, unaware of the strange shift that had taken place. As she walked across the room, Candice noticed what appeared to be small, squirming things on the floor. Bugs, she thought, but they seemed oddly... active. She leaned down, her enormous form towering above them, and barely noticed the tiny men running frantically beneath her feet. To her, they looked like little insects, easily dismissed in her mind. To Candice, these tiny creatures were her son and his friends, who had mysteriously been shrunken down to a fraction of their size. She continued to move about the living room, stepping around them, her giant feet often coming perilously close to squishing them. Every time she brushed past one, it was like a brush with fate for the tiny men who were desperately trying to avoid her unaware footsteps. Candice was completely oblivious, still searching for her son, but she couldn't shake the nagging feeling that something just wasn't right. The shrunken group, helpless to get her attention, could only watch as the world around them—Candice's enormous movements, the giant furniture—seemed more like a looming, perilous jungle than a home. The situation was dire for the tiny group. Candice gets a phone call an turns out her son was stuck to the bottom of her bare sole. She is fascinated about him being tiny, she loved that fact she a crushed him and that he loved her big giant feet.
